Smeeks

All week long I have been over at the Fashionista's new condo. It was a foreclosure and needs a bit of TLC. I had to take a break to purchase a baby gift and headed to one of my favorite stores, Frances. As I was getting out of my car I completely forgot my misson as I was completely drawn to this new little shop~ Smeeks.

As I entered Smeeks I was as overjoyed as a kid on Christmas morning. You see it really was candyland.

The owner of Frances has now opened a second darling shop that features all my childhood favorites. Yum indeed!

Everything is presented in fun, whimsical displays.

I spy with my little eye, way up high, Hansel and Gretel's gingerbread house.

The elf, himself.

Very soon I will be hosting a housewarming party at the Fashionista's condo. I think I love these party cups for the candy bar we're planning.

There was someone out in blogland that needed old fashioned paper straws. Sorry that I can't remember who, but here you go.

I like these numerical sparklers. I will be picking up a "8" very soon for Sweet Boy.

A few years ago a magazine featured how to make these old time surprise balls. I thought it was a good idea then and an even lovelier idea now.

I love this violet gum, and the red twine AND the wee mushroom!

It is back to scrubbing and painting the new place for me, but perhaps you can visit Smeeks soon.
I am trying to finish the apartment and my own guest room before my three college classes begin on the 22nd. I hope you will understand and forgive my recent lack of comments.
