Many clients inquires as to what should be included in their ceremony programs. Here is all of the information that should be included.
MUST HAVES:
- Names of the bride and groom
- Wedding date and time
- Ceremony location
- Listing of ceremony songs, readings and rituals, in order
- Names of bridal party and other participants (officiant, readers, soloists, musicians, etc.)
OPTIONAL
- Welcome or Thank you note to guests
- A meaningful quote, lyric or passage
- Anecdotes about your relationship or engagement
- Biographies and pictures of all of your wedding VIPs
- A brief message honoring departed loved ones
- Detailed information about unfamiliar rituals
- A note of thanks to parents
- Map or directions to the reception site in case guests forgot their invitation enclosure
