Gosh it's windy today - it feels like the first proper day of autumn after that lovely Indian Summer we've been having. There's something about October that makes me automatically think ahead to spring. I guess it takes time to get used to the days getting shorter, and the weather taking a turn for the worse. Also it's prime bulb-planting time, so if you're planning your big day for this Spring, then get potting - there's nothing prettier than a planters of fresh daffodils to decorate the tables at your wedding breakfast.
