Real Vintage Wedding: Agata & Stefan

London weddings always have a special magic about them. It's the sparkle of a capital city and the feel that the celebrations could go on and on, late into the night. Agata and Stefan came from Poland and Bavaria respectively - they met and fell in love in London, so they wanted their wedding to reflect the important role the city had played in their relationship. Add in a touch of vintage, and you get an amazing aray of wedding ideas. From the 1960's Route Master bus they hired to transport the wedding guests, the Chelsea Registry Office ceremony venue, the reception on a boat on the Thames and Claridges for dinner, every element celebrated London. Agata chose a 1920's inspired wedding gown from Jenny Packham, and as a surprise to Stefan, had the flower Edelweiss flown in from Austria to be included in the buttonholes and bridal bouquet. But my favourite wedding idea has to be the wish lanterns they released from The Embankment, opposite the London Eye. What a fantastic ending to an incredibly romantic wedding day. All these gorgeous photographs are published with thanks to the team at Segerius Bruce. For a list of Agata's suppliers, please see the list below.

Real Wedding: Natsuko & Jason

This gorgeous church wedding in London's Primrose Hill is full of love and gorgeous details. Natsuko drew on her Japanese heritage, and peppered her wedding with origami cranes and beautiful calligraphied fans. Origami is the best DIY project ever - you can make almost any creature you want from instructions online, choose paper that fits in with your colour palette, and fold away for months ahead of your wedding. I'm loving the simple Ikea vases of tulips, the flowers in Natsuko's hair and their beautiful son! Huge thanks to photographer Anna Rossell for her fab pictures.

BBD Theme: L♥ve London

If you work in London, you might not think it's the most romantic place to celebrate your big day.  But if you start seeing the city through tourist's eyes, you'll start to change your mind.  Just think of all those gorgeous old buildings that you could use as a grand venue, and the stunning vistas over the river - perfect for dramatic shots of the two of you post-ceremony.

Imagine mocking up tube tickets as Save The Dates, rocking up in a Routemaster bus, and using the A-Z to identify tables.  There's almost too much London iconography out there.....  Here's a little collage to whet your appetite.  And if you'd like more ideas for venues, then check out Your London Wedding magazine.

Real Wedding: Jennifer & Oliver

London is one of the most inspiring cities in the world, so it's not surprising that LDN weddings tend to rock my world. There's so many iconic images that can be incorporated into your big day, from black cabs to red buses, the River Thames, the tube, Big Ben and of course soldiers in bearskin hats. Jen and Olly managed to find a fair few of those details on their post-ceremony walk down The Mall, and it really adds to the atmosphere of their pictures. But the details don't stop there! Throw in Jen's Vera Wang dress, an orchid bouquet, and the breathtaking London Oratory, and you've got a wedding made in heaven. I particularly love the room in the The Waldorf Hilton where they celebrated their reception, it's so light and airy and elegant. Don't miss the last pics, as Jen and Olly performed a fabulously choreographed foxtrot for their first dance. A great idea for a couple who aren't that confident on the dance floor. Try Wedding Day Dance for your own lessons. Huge thanks to Lily & Frank Photography for their gorgeous pictures.

Real Wedding: Lia & Gerald

There's something iconic about London weddings. Maybe it's because it's such a stand-out city, or maybe it's because all the couples are chic, urban sophisticates, but they're always such stylish affairs. Lia and Gerald's big day was no differnt. They celebrated their wedding at the glam Haymarket Hotel, in a gorgoues private room, decorated with pink roses and chandeliers. Lia looked super-elegant in a modern strapless dress and added vintage jewelery plus a black-bowed rose bouquet. Meanwhile Gerald looked fab in his bespoke suit. Huge thanks to Chloe Brown from Caught the Light for her lovely pictures!

Real Wedding: Ella & Sam

It's difficult to define romance, but for me, this gorgeous Greenwich wedding gets right to the heart of the matter. Ella and Sam celebrated their big day at Rangers House in the park, followed by a lovely dinner at Davy's Wine Vaults. Both of them looked totally fabulous, but I've falled head over heels for Sam's floral shirt and bow-tie. Super-original and lovely to see a groom looking fashionable - boys, be inspired! Violets and Velvet were responsible for the florals, and I'm loving the pink roses and eucalyptus in Ella's bouquet. Other stealworthy ideas have to be the bridesmaids' amazing sequinned jackets and patterned tights, plus the double-decker bus. Note sure why, but I've always had a soft spot for the Routemaster. Stunning pictures thanks to the lovely Chloe Browne from Caught the Light.
